Windhover Information was a premier business intelligence and analysis firm dedicated to the life sciences industry. Founded in 1991, the company became the gold standard for strategic analysis of the biopharmaceutical and medical device sectors through its flagship publications, such as In Vivo and Start-Up. Windhover also developed the 'Strategic Transactions' database, a critical resource for tracking and analyzing healthcare deal-making, which remains widely used by biotech analysts and business development executives. The company was also well-known for hosting elite industry conferences that brought together top-tier executives and investors. In 2008, Windhover was acquired by Elsevier, and its assets were later integrated into Informa's Pharma Intelligence division (now Citeline).
