World Clinical Laser Institute

The World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI) is the world's largest dental laser education and certification organization, dedicated to advancing the clinical use of laser technology in dentistry. Originally established as the educational arm of BIOLASE, the institute provides comprehensive training, hands-on workshops, and global symposia for dentists and dental hygienists. WCLI offers various levels of certification, including Associate Fellowship, Fellowship, and Mastership, focusing on the integration of Er,Cr:YSGG and diode lasers into daily practice. Its curriculum covers a broad spectrum of applications such as periodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. Following the acquisition of BIOLASE assets by Sonendo in 2024, WCLI continues to serve as a primary resource for evidence-based laser dentistry education.
