Wuhan Rhecogen Biotechnology was a Wuhan-based private biotech joint venture formed in 2021 by Jiangsu Recbio Technology and Shenzhen Rhegen Biotechnology to develop and industrialize mRNA vaccines. The company focused on thermostable, lyophilized mRNA-LNP vaccines, with RH109 as its lead COVID-19 booster candidate targeting SARS-CoV-2 variants including Omicron.
