Overview
XellSmart has achieved first-in-class regulatory milestones with its allogeneic iPSC-derived cell therapies. XS228 for ALS was the world’s first such therapy approved by the FDA for a registrational Phase I trial. Early clinical results show safety and efficacy signals such as slowed progression of ALS compared to standard care. For Parkinson's disease patients treated with XS411 injection, over 12 months of follow-up demonstrated good safety profiles and significant improvements in motor symptoms ("off" time reduction), MDS-UPDRS scores, and non-motor symptoms.
