Xi'an Chinese Pharmaceutical Factory, founded in 1966, was a prominent state-owned traditional Chinese medicine manufacturer based in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China. The company specialized in the research, development, and commercialization of Chinese patent medicines, producing over 100 products across various dosage forms including capsules, tablets, pills, and granules. Its most notable legacy product is the Canelim capsule, a widely recognized traditional Chinese anticancer preparation. In the mid-1990s and early 2000s, the factory underwent significant restructuring, leading to the creation of successor joint-venture and privatized entities, including Xi'an C.P. Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Xi'an Efanggong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which continue to manufacture and market its historical portfolio.
