Xtria was a healthcare information technology and services company that provided quality management and compliance solutions for the healthcare and life sciences sectors. The company's software platforms were designed to assist hospitals, health plans, and pharmaceutical companies in managing regulatory data, clinical trials, and patient safety initiatives. Xtria's portfolio included tools for physician credentialing, risk management, and clinical data analysis. Following a series of divestitures, its healthcare division was acquired by The TriZetto Group in 2004 to bolster their provider-facing technology. Its subsidiary, Matrix Medical Network, which specialized in prospective health assessments, was eventually sold to private equity in 2011.
