Yangzhou Tianhe Pharmaceutical is a Chinese pharmaceutical company specializing in the development and manufacture of transdermal drug delivery systems and topical medicinal patches. Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, the company established itself as a significant player in the Chinese external-use analgesic market with its "Tianhe" brand of medicated plasters. In 2012, the company was acquired by the Japanese pharmaceutical giant Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical for approximately 17.3 billion yen to serve as a strategic manufacturing and sales hub in China.
