Ybrain has developed a wearable electroceutical device using non-invasive brain stimulation to treat neuropsychiatric conditions. The company has completed Phase 2 trials in schizophrenia and game addiction, is conducting global Phase 3 trials in depression and mild dementia, and its tDCS-based device is already used clinically in about 80 hospitals/clinics across South Korea. Early results show efficacy for major depressive disorder, with additional studies ongoing or planned for other indications.
