Yosemite

Yosemite is an independent, oncology-focused venture capital and philanthropic fund launched in 2023, with the mission to make cancer non-lethal within our lifetime. It invests in early-stage companies and provides philanthropic grants to advance transformative cancer research and therapeutics, but it does not itself have therapeutics in clinical development. Yosemite spun out from Emerson Collective Health as a standalone firm. It uniquely blends traditional venture investing with philanthropic grants via a donor-advised fund, supporting both research and company creation, primarily in oncology. It does not own proprietary therapeutics, modalities, or develop drugs in-house.
