Youth and Family Centered Services (YFCS) was a prominent provider of behavioral health services specifically tailored for children, adolescents, and their families. Based in Austin, Texas, the company managed a diverse portfolio of residential treatment centers, acute psychiatric hospitals, and community-based programs across multiple states. Their service model focused on treating complex psychiatric, emotional, and behavioral disorders through specialized clinical interventions and therapeutic environments. In April 2011, YFCS was acquired by Acadia Healthcare for approximately $450 million, a transaction that significantly expanded Acadia's presence in the behavioral health industry. Prior to the acquisition, YFCS was a portfolio company of the private equity firm TA Associates.
