Zellkraftwerk

Zellkraftwerk was a German life science tools and biotech company focused on high-content cytometry and spatial biology workflows for cells and tissues. The company developed the ChipCytometry platform, including instrumentation, consumables, software, and research services for highly multiplexed protein biomarker analysis, biobanking, and sample preparation. Its technology enabled repeated staining and imaging of cells and tissue sections to quantify large numbers of protein markers at single-cell resolution. Zellkraftwerk served pharmaceutical, diagnostics, and academic customers in preclinical, translational, and clinical research settings. The company was acquired by Canopy Biosciences in April 2019, and the technology was subsequently integrated into Canopy and later into Bruker after Bruker acquired Canopy in September 2020.
