Zellwerk is a German biotechnology company specializing in advanced bioprocessing solutions for cell culture and tissue engineering. Founded in 1997, the company is best known for its proprietary Z®RP (Zellwerk Rotating Processor) technology, a modular perfusion bioreactor system designed for the automated, GMP-compliant expansion of adherent mammalian cells. Zellwerk operates as both a technology provider and a CDMO, offering mass production services for immune cells—including natural killer (NK) cells and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs)—as well as mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) for regenerative medicine.
