Zeng X

ZengX was a biotechnology company specializing in the development of advanced liquid biopsy technologies for molecular diagnostics. The company focused on improving the sensitivity and accuracy of cell-free DNA (cfDNA) analysis, which has significant applications in oncology and non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT). Its proprietary methods were designed to overcome the technical hurdles of detecting rare genetic variants in blood samples. In March 2019, ZengX was acquired by 10x Genomics for $10 million to bolster its sample preparation and molecular analysis capabilities. The integration of ZengX's technology has since supported 10x Genomics' mission to provide comprehensive solutions for single-cell and spatial biology.
