Zhangzhou Innoessen

Zhangzhou Innoessen Bio-technology was a Chinese biotechnology company and a subsidiary of China Technology Development Group Corporation, established in 2006. Based in the Zhangzhou Development Zone, the company operated as a specialized production and manufacturing facility for nutraceutical materials derived from bamboo. Its flagship product, 'Antioxidant of Bamboo Leaves' (AOB), was a natural extract containing bioactive flavonoids like orientin and vitexin, marketed for its antioxidant, anti-aging, and cardiovascular benefits. The company's core technology was developed through a long-term collaboration with researchers at Zhejiang University. In 2007, following a strategic pivot by its parent company toward the solar energy sector, Zhangzhou Innoessen and the broader nutraceutical division were divested.
