Zhejiang Unogene Bioengineering (officially Zhejiang Uniongen Biopharm Co., Ltd.) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company based in Huzhou, China, specializing in the development of long-acting recombinant protein therapeutics. Founded in 2009, the company leverages its proprietary human serum albumin (HSA) fusion technology platform to create drugs with improved pharmacokinetic profiles and reduced dosing frequency. Its lead product candidate, YDK-01, is a recombinant human albumin-growth hormone fusion protein currently in Phase 3 clinical trials for the treatment of growth hormone deficiency. Beyond its lead program, Unogene is advancing a pipeline of preclinical candidates, including YDK-02 and YDK-04, targeting endocrine and metabolic disorders. The company maintains a large-scale manufacturing facility in Anji, Zhejiang, and is expanding its production capabilities with a major new base in Tianjin to support the commercialization of its innovative biologic pipeline.
