Zila Nutraceuticals was a specialized health and nutrition company best known for its flagship product, Ester-C, a patented form of Vitamin C. In 2006, Zila Nutraceuticals was acquired by NBTY, Inc. (now Nature's Bounty, a part of Nestlé Health Science) for approximately $37.5 million.
