Zilentin

Zilentin is a Swiss inner-ear therapeutics company created as a subsidiary of Auris Medical, later Altamira Therapeutics, to hold development programs for tinnitus, hearing loss, and related vestibular disorders. The company has been associated with a portfolio including Keyzilen for acute inner ear tinnitus, Sonsuvi for acute inner ear hearing loss, AM-125 for vertigo, and an earlier-stage AM-102 tinnitus program. In October 2022, Altamira agreed to sell 90% of Zilentin to a European family office as part of a divestiture of its legacy otology assets, but subsequent disclosures indicated the broader asset transaction did not close as planned. Zilentin appears to remain a distinct Swiss legal entity tied to Altamira's legacy inner-ear business rather than an independent, broad-platform biotech.
