Zunicom, Inc. was a diversified holding company that operated primarily within the healthcare information technology sector. Through its key subsidiary, Universal Health Card, Inc., the company focused on the development and commercialization of smart card-based systems for managing medical records and patient data. The technology was designed to provide healthcare providers with immediate, secure access to patient histories, insurance information, and clinical data at the point of care.
