Zyentia

Zyentia is a biotechnology company based in Cambridge, UK, specializing in the study of protein misfolding and aggregation, which are central to many human diseases. Founded in 2002 by Professor Christopher Dobson and other researchers from the University of Cambridge, the company developed the "Aggresolve" platform, an in silico technology for predicting and managing protein aggregation in drug development. This platform was acquired by Lonza in 2010 to enhance their biologics development services. Zyentia's research has focused on amyloid-related conditions, including Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and Type 2 Diabetes, primarily through the development of small molecule inhibitors of protein aggregation.
