Zylidac Bio is a U.S.-based biologics contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) and a wholly owned subsidiary of Zydus Lifesciences. Established in early 2026 following the acquisition of Agenus Inc.'s manufacturing assets, the company operates state-of-the-art facilities in Emeryville and Berkeley, California. Zylidac Bio provides end-to-end biologics manufacturing services, including drug substance and drug product production for both clinical and commercial-scale needs. The company serves as the exclusive manufacturer for Agenus' Phase 3 immuno-oncology candidates, botensilimab and balstilimab, and supports Zydus' broader biosimilar and innovative biologics portfolio. By maintaining a domestic U.S. footprint, Zylidac Bio positions itself as a secure and compliant supply chain partner in alignment with the BIOSECURE Act.
