Zynerba’s lead asset Zygel™ has shown positive data in Phase 2 trials for both Fragile X syndrome and 22q11.2 deletion syndrome and was being evaluated in a pivotal Phase 3 trial (“RECONNECT”) for FXS at the time of acquisition by Harmony Biosciences.[1][7] The product has received orphan drug designation from the FDA and European Commission for both conditions.[4]
