β1 integrin siRNA is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) designed to target and silence the expression of the β1 integrin (ITGB1) gene. β1 integrin is a cell surface receptor that plays a critical role in cell-extracellular matrix (ECM) adhesion, cell signaling, migration, and tumor progression. In research settings, β1 integrin siRNA is widely used to investigate the functional roles of β1 integrin in cancer cell invasion, metastasis, drug resistance, and tissue regeneration. Silencing of β1 integrin has been shown to alter cell migration strategies, sensitize cancer cells to therapies, and affect cellular differentiation.
