γδT cell infusion agent is an adoptive cell therapy developed by PersonGen BioTherapeutics (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute leukemia, including B-cell lineages, following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). The therapy utilizes donor-derived gamma delta (γδ) T cells, which are a specialized subset of T cells that function at the interface of innate and adaptive immunity. These cells recognize tumor-associated antigens and stress-induced ligands in an MHC-independent manner, which allows for potent anti-leukemic effects with a significantly lower risk of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) compared to conventional αβ T cells. The agent is currently being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials to prevent or treat relapse in post-transplant patients.
