Overview

**δ-catenin peptide vaccine 1** is a peptide-based cancer immunotherapy designed to target δ-catenin, a tumor-associated antigen implicated in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). It stimulates cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) responses and enhances CD8+ T cell infiltration into tumors, leading to increased secretion of IFN-γ and tumor cell killing. Mechanistically, the vaccine works through antigen presentation to T cells by antigen-presenting cells (APCs), activating T cells via the MAPK/ERK signaling pathway and transcription factors Eomes and T-bet. Preclinical models have shown that immunization with δ-catenin peptide vaccine 1 can suppress tumor growth, augment CTL activity, and prolong survival in mice with subcutaneous hepatocellular tumors[1][5].
