аАКДС-Геп В+Hib (also known as АКДС-Геп В + Hib) is an approved pentavalent combination vaccine developed by Immunopreparat (a subsidiary of Microgen). It is indicated for the active immunization of children against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) infection. The vaccine is formulated as a suspension for intramuscular injection, consisting of an acellular pertussis component (which reduces reactogenicity compared to whole-cell vaccines), diphtheria and tetanus toxoids, recombinant hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), and a synthetic conjugated Hib capsular polysaccharide (polyribosylribitol phosphate) component. It is adsorbed onto aluminum hydroxide as an adjuvant to enhance the protective humoral immune response against all five targeted pathogens.
