Drug intelligence / Profile preview
АДП-М-Біолік (ADP-M-Biolik) is an adsorbed, reduced-dose diphtheria-tetanus (Td) vaccine manufactured by Biolik Biopharmaceutical in Ukraine. It contains purified concentrated diphtheria toxoid (5 Lf) and purified concentrated tetanus toxoid (5 binding units) adsorbed onto an aluminum-based adjuvant. The vaccine is indicated for preventive immunization against diphtheria and tetanus, specifically for routine booster vaccinations in adolescents aged 16 years and adults every 10 years, as well as for primary immunization of previously unvaccinated children from 7 years of age and adults. It works by inducing the formation of specific active immunity through the production of neutralizing antibodies against the toxins produced by *Corynebacterium diphtheriae* and *Clostridium tetani*. This formulation is characterized by its reduced antigen content compared to standard pediatric formulations, making it suitable for booster doses in older populations.
