It is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate chronic non-atrophic gastritis with erosion, specifically for patients presenting with damp-heat and blood stasis syndrome, characterized by stomach pain, dark purple tongue with petechiae or ecchymosis, yellow greasy tongue coating, and wiry or wiry-slippery pulse. The drug works by activating blood circulation to remove stasis, drying dampness, and relieving pain. It was approved for marketing by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China in December 2021 after successful Phase II and Phase III clinical trials.
