Overview
桂林西瓜霜 (Guilin Watermelon Frost) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula developed and manufactured by Guilin Sanjin. It is formulated as a powder/spray containing watermelon frost, calcined borax, Phellodendron bark, Coptis rhizome, Sophora tonkinensis root, Belamcanda chinensis rhizome, Fritillaria thunbergii bulb, Indigo naturalis, borneol, Sapindus mukorossi fruit carbon, rhubarb, Scutellaria baicalensis root, licorice root, and menthol. It is widely used in China for clearing heat, detoxicating, reducing swelling, and relieving pain. Its primary indications include sore throat, tonsillitis, oral ulcers, stomatitis, swollen or bleeding gums, and mild burns (with intact skin).
