Drug intelligence / Profile preview
氨酚麻美干混悬剂 (Anfenmamei Ganhunxuanji) is a combination small molecule drug product developed and manufactured by Zhejiang Kangde Pharmaceutical for the symptomatic relief of the common cold and influenza in children. Formulated as a dry suspension for oral reconstitution, it contains three active pharmaceutical ingredients: paracetamol (acetaminophen), pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, and dextromethorphan hydrobromide. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. Pseudoephedrine is a sympathomimetic decongestant that targets alpha- and beta-adrenergic receptors to reduce nasal congestion. Dextromethorphan serves as an antitussive by suppressing the cough reflex through sigma-1 receptor agonism and NMDA receptor antagonism. The drug is approved in China for treating symptoms such as fever, headache, nasal congestion, and cough associated with viral respiratory infections.
