Overview
Xiaofeng Zhiyang Granules (消风止痒颗粒) is an approved traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed and marketed by Yantai Dongcheng Pharmaceutical (through its subsidiary Yantai Dongcheng Dayang Pharmaceutical) and other manufacturers. Formulated as oral granules, it contains a blend of eleven Chinese herbs, including Radix Saposhnikoviae (防风), Periostracum Cicadae (蝉蜕), Cortex Lycii (地骨皮), Rhizoma Atractylodis (苍术), Semen Lini (亚麻子), Radix Angelicae Sinensis (当归), Radix Rehmanniae (地黄), Caulis Akebiae (木通), Herba Schizonepetae (荆芥), Gypsum Fibrosum (石膏), and Radix Glycyrrhizae (甘草). It is clinically indicated for clearing wind, removing heat, draining dampness, and relieving itching, and is widely used to treat inflammatory and pruritic skin conditions such as papular urticaria, eczema, and pruritus.
