Drug intelligence / Profile preview
百梅止咳颗粒 (Bai Mei Zhi Ke Keli) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) oral granule developed and marketed by Henan Bainian Kangxin Pharmaceutical. It is an approved pharmaceutical product in China indicated for the relief of cough and respiratory symptoms, particularly those associated with chronic conditions or lung yin deficiency. The formulation is a combination of several herbal extracts, including *Stemonae Radix* (Baibu), *Mume Fructus* (Wumei), *Armeniacae Semen Amarum* (Kuxingren), *Platycodonis Radix* (Jiegeng), and *Glycyrrhizae Radix* (Gancao). These ingredients work synergistically to provide antitussive, expectorant, and anti-inflammatory effects by moistening the respiratory tract and suppressing the cough reflex.
