Overview
肾病康复丸 (Shenbing Kangfu Wan) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation primarily used for the treatment of kidney-related conditions, including primary nephrotic syndrome, pediatric nephrotic syndrome, and membranous nephropathy. Its therapeutic approach in TCM is described as clearing heat and detoxifying, promoting diuresis and reducing swelling, activating blood and dispelling stasis, and tonifying kidney and astringing essence. It is also associated with the "warming yang and promoting diuresis method" (温阳利水法). Clinical observations and studies have investigated its efficacy in improving symptoms and kidney function in patients with these conditions. It is contraindicated for individuals with spleen and kidney yang deficiency.
