Overview
腹安颗粒浸膏 (Fuan Granules extract) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) extract derived from Fuan Granules (Fu'an Keli), a standardized proprietary Chinese herbal formulation developed by Xiamen Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. (厦门中药厂). The parent formulation, Fuan Granules, is composed of five herbal ingredients: *Agrimonia pilosa* Ledeb. (仙鹤草), *Polygonum chinense* L. (火炭母), *Acalypha australis* L. (铁苋菜), *Bidens pilosa* L. (鬼针草), and *Dysphania ambrosioides* (L.) Mosyakin & Clemants (土荆芥). Traditionally used to clear heat, remove toxicity, and dry dampness for treating dysentery, acute gastroenteritis, diarrhea, and abdominal pain, the specific extract (腹安颗粒浸膏) is under preclinical development for new therapeutic indications. These include the treatment of hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD), rotavirus infection, and intestinal flora imbalance (dysbiosis), as supported by several patents held by the developer.
