茵胆平肝胶囊 (Yindan Pinggan Jiaonang), also known as Sanyinda, is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulated as capsules. It is primarily indicated for conditions associated with liver-gallbladder damp-heat syndrome, including hypochondriac pain, bitter taste in the mouth, and yellow urine. It is also used to alleviate symptoms in acute and chronic cholecystitis, gallstones, alcoholic liver disease, acute viral hepatitis, chronic hepatitis B (as an adjunct therapy), skin itching due to cholestasis, and abdominal distension. Its mechanism of action, from a TCM perspective, involves clearing heat and resolving dampness in the liver and gallbladder. The drug is manufactured by Zhangzhou Pien Tze Huang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and is administered orally.
