Overview

调免I号 (Tiaomian No. 1) is a specialized Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospital-made preparation developed by the Shanghai Guanghua Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), particularly during the active phase characterized by Yin deficiency and internal heat in TCM theory. The formula consists of several botanical ingredients, including Rehmannia glutinosa and Scrophularia buergeriana, which work synergistically to modulate the immune system. Research indicates that 调免I号 functions by inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-6 and TNF-alpha, and by restoring the balance between Th17 and Treg cell populations, thereby reducing the autoimmune inflammatory response and protecting organ function.
