Overview

**010DS-Zn** is an investigational folate-ligand guided zinc-peptide complex being developed by Xylonix as a targeted anticancer and immunomodulatory agent. The compound is designed to bind folate receptor-overexpressing cells, including many solid tumor cells, hematologic cancer cells, and M2-like tumor-associated macrophages, and then trigger **parthanatos**, a PARP-driven, highly DNA-damaging programmed necrotic cell death pathway. Preclinical reports describe a triple-action profile: direct killing of folate receptor-positive cancer cells, depletion of immunosuppressive M2-like macrophages and TAMs, and induction of antitumor immune responses with increased CD4 and CD8 T-cell activity. The program has been positioned primarily for broad oncology applications, with additional exploratory discussion of post-COVID inflammatory complications, but publicly available evidence indicates it remains in preclinical development.
