0168+PD1

0168+PD1 is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody combination therapy being developed by AlaMab Therapeutics, a subsidiary of CSPC Pharmaceutical. The combination consists of ALMB-0168, a first-in-class humanized monoclonal antibody agonist targeting Connexin43 (Cx43) hemichannels, and an undisclosed programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) inhibitor. ALMB-0168 binds to Cx43 hemichannels on osteocytes and tumor cells, promoting their opening and the subsequent release of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) into the extracellular microenvironment, which inhibits tumor cell growth and migration. When combined with a PD-1 inhibitor, the therapy aims to synergistically enhance the anti-tumor immune response by reversing immunosuppression in the tumor microenvironment. The combination is under preclinical development for the treatment of solid tumors.
