Drug intelligence / Profile preview
10X-54 is a high-affinity monoclonal antibody engineered to target the ligand-binding domain of triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-1 (TREM-1). Developed by Nanjing University, 10X-54 acts as a potent TREM-1 antagonist, blocking its interaction with ligands such as peptidoglycan recognition protein 1 (PGLYRP1) and peptidoglycan (PGN). By inhibiting TREM-1 activation, 10X-54 suppresses the synergistic amplification of pro-inflammatory signaling, reducing the release of key inflammatory mediators like tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) and TNF-like ligand 1A (TL1A). In preclinical models of dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis, 10X-54 has demonstrated efficacy in attenuating disease progression, improving clinical scores, and reducing mucosal inflammation, highlighting its potential as a novel therapeutic agent for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
