111In-DOTA-Gly3Phe-m170 is a radiolabeled monoclonal antibody conjugate developed for the imaging and radioimmunotherapy of epithelial cancers, particularly breast and prostate adenocarcinomas. It comprises the m170 monoclonal antibody, which recognizes a panadenocarcinoma antigen, linked to the chelator DOTA (1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-N,N',N'',N'''-tetraacetic acid) via a specialized peptide linker, Gly3Phe (glycylglycylglycyl-phenylalanine). The conjugate is labeled with the radionuclide Indium-111 (111In), allowing for SPECT imaging to evaluate tumor localization and pharmacokinetics. Research has indicated that its tumor uptake may be enhanced when administered in sequence with taxanes like paclitaxel, which may synergize the therapeutic effect of radiolabeled antibodies.
