111In-DTPA-NLS-chIgG1 is a non-specific radioimmunoconjugate (RIC) primarily used as an isotype-matched negative control in preclinical research, particularly in the field of Auger electron radioimmunotherapy for acute myeloid leukemia (AML). It consists of a chimeric IgG1 monoclonal antibody (chIgG1) conjugated with diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) as a chelator and nuclear localization sequence (NLS) peptides, radiolabeled with the Auger electron emitter Indium-111 (111In). Unlike targeted agents such as 111In-DTPA-NLS-CSL360, this construct lacks specific binding to therapeutic targets like CD123 or CD131. It is used to differentiate between target-specific cytotoxicity and non-specific radiation effects in cellular and animal models.
