Overview

**111In-DTPA-NLS-hIgG** is a radiopharmaceutical agent consisting of human immunoglobulin G (hIgG) conjugated with a diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) chelator, a nuclear localization sequence (NLS) peptide, and labeled with the radioisotope indium-111 (111In). The DTPA allows stable chelation with 111In for imaging or therapeutic radiation delivery. The addition of the NLS peptide targets the compound to the cell nucleus, enhancing intracellular delivery and potential radiotoxicity in targeted cells. As a non-specific IgG construct, it functions as a control or comparator for targeted radiopharmaceuticals in preclinical studies, especially in research involving anti-leukemia therapies and biodistribution studies. Its primary indication in the literature is as a non-targeted control for the evaluation of radiolabeled antibody constructs, rather than direct clinical use[3].
