Overview

111In-IPN01087 is a radiopharmaceutical diagnostic agent consisting of the neurotensin receptor type 1 (NTSR1) antagonist, IPN01087, labeled with the radioisotope indium-111. It was developed for use as an imaging agent in patients with cancers that overexpress NTSR1, such as colorectal cancer and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. The drug is administered intravenously and used in conjunction with single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) to visualize tumors expressing NTSR1. Its mechanism of action involves selective binding to NTSR1 on tumor cells, enabling targeted imaging through radionuclide detection[1][2][3]. The development of this agent was discontinued after phase 1 clinical trials.
