111In-Nd2 is a radiolabeled monoclonal antibody preparation in which the c-Nd2 antibody is conjugated with the radioisotope indium-111. The antibody portion (c-Nd2) targets antigens expressed on certain cancer cells. Indium-111 is a gamma-emitting radionuclide that enables imaging via radioimmunodetection (RAID), facilitating the preoperative diagnosis and localization of cancers, particularly distinguishing invasive pancreatic cancer from other pancreatic masses.
