Drug intelligence / Profile preview
111In-panitumumab is a radioimmunoconjugate composed of panitumumab (a fully human monoclonal antibody) labeled with the radioactive isotope indium-111. It targets the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), which is overexpressed in many tumor types. This compound is designed for diagnostic imaging using SPECT/CT to visualize EGFR-expressing tumors and potentially identify sentinel lymph nodes in cancer patients. In preclinical studies, it has shown high tumor uptake, making it valuable for diagnostic applications.
