Overview

111In-rIgG-Tat (Indium-111-labeled rabbit IgG-TAT) is a radiolabeled, non-specific control immunoconjugate developed by researchers at the University of Oxford. It consists of non-specific rabbit immunoglobulin G (rIgG) conjugated to the cell-penetrating peptide TAT (transactivator of transcription) and labeled with the gamma-emitting radionuclide indium-111 (111In). In preclinical imaging studies, particularly those evaluating DNA damage response (DDR) using SPECT, 111In-rIgG-Tat serves as a negative control to distinguish target-specific accumulation (such as that of 111In-anti-γH2AX-TAT) from non-specific uptake mediated by the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect or cell-penetrating peptide activity.
