Overview

111In-XYIMSR-01 is an investigational radiopharmaceutical designed for the diagnostic imaging of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). It is a small-molecule radiotracer that high-affinitively targets Carbonic Anhydrase IX (CAIX), a transmembrane glycoprotein that is constitutively overexpressed in more than 90% of ccRCC cases due to mutations in the von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) gene. The agent consists of a urea-based CAIX ligand conjugated to a DOTA chelator, which is complexed with the gamma-emitting radioisotope Indium-111. This configuration allows for highly specific localization of primary and metastatic ccRCC lesions using Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT/CT), facilitating non-invasive diagnosis, staging, and potential monitoring of treatment response.
