Drug intelligence / Profile preview
111Indium-bevacizumab is a radiopharmaceutical consisting of bevacizumab labeled with the radioactive isotope Indium-111. Bevacizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal IgG1 antibody that binds to vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), inhibiting angiogenesis by preventing VEGF-A from binding to its receptors on endothelial cells. The radiolabeling with 111Indium allows for diagnostic imaging and tracking of the antibody distribution in the body, which can be useful for research and potentially for diagnostic applications in cancer patients.
