Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The 11D10 anti-idiotype is a monoclonal antibody used as an anti-idiotype vaccine. It is designed to mimic a human milk fat globule (HMFG) membrane epitope and acts as an internal image of the tumor-associated antigen. By presenting this mimicry to the immune system, it stimulates both humoral and cellular immune responses against tumors expressing the HMFG antigen. The primary use has been in cancer immunotherapy, particularly for solid tumors such as non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and colorectal cancer metastatic to the liver. Clinical trials have evaluated its safety, immunogenicity, and potential efficacy in these settings[1][3][4].
