Overview

123I-MNI-168 is a diagnostic radiopharmaceutical developed for SPECT (Single-photon emission-computed tomography) imaging. It functions as an APP (Beta amyloid A4 protein) inhibitor and was designed to detect β-amyloid deposition in the brain. The drug was initially developed by the Institute for Neurodegenerative Disorders for potential use in Alzheimer's Disease diagnosis.
