Overview

131I-A6H is a radiolabeled monoclonal antibody consisting of the A6H antibody conjugated with Iodine-131, a radioactive isotope. This was investigated as a radioimmunotherapy agent for renal cell carcinoma (RCC). The A6H monoclonal antibody was designed to target antigens associated with RCC, while the Iodine-131 component provides beta and gamma radiation for therapeutic effect. According to available information, the use of mAb A6H for diagnosis and treatment of RCC was discontinued[5]. Iodine-131 emits approximately 90% beta radiation and 10% gamma radiation, with a half-life of approximately 8 days.
